Famous Fall Flavors: Our Favorite Recipes

Fall is just around the corner — can’t you smell your favorite spices like cinnamon and nutmeg wafting in the air? We can already taste the comfort of those famous fall flavors — apples drenched in buttery brown sugar, pumpkin puree swirling with that creamy, sugared glaze, and caramel perfectly sprinkled with sea salt!

Fall is such a unique time of year. It’s the change of seasons from tank tops and flip-flops, to boots and loose-knit sweaters. We put away our swimsuits and pool floats and pull out cozy blankets and roasting sticks for Grandma’s famous s’mores! It’s the season of football and bonfires, pumpkin patches and sunflowers fields, and it’s the season to rake massive piles of those multi-colored leaves!

Fall. One of the top four best seasons of the year! ;)

In honor of this blessed season, I’ve compiled a few of my favorite recipes that I’d love to share with you!

This is the perfect side dish to a savory meal like Roasted Chicken and Potatoes or Smoked Brisket and Brussel Sprouts. Set the table and watch your family fall madly in love with your sweet & savory genius!

Laura’s Biscuits

Who doesn’t love fresh buttermilk biscuits for breakfast?! Drizzle them with honey and serve with your best proteins (eggs, bacon, sausage) — you can’t go wrong here!

Turn this recipe into a dinner biscuit recipe by adding 2 cloves of garlic (minced), 8 ounces of shredded cheddar cheese, and 1 TSP of parsley. You’ll have yourself the best Garlic Cheddar Biscuits to compliment your perfect pasta!

Oh, yes! These biscuits go great with dessert! Try them with those slow-baked apples and some vanilla ice cream!
