Best of All Time Chocolate Chip Cookies

don’t mean to be dramatic here, but today I have the BEST chocolate chip cookie recipe of all time. In honor of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day this week (gotta love the made-up holidays), I am sharing my favorite cookie recipe in hopes that it adds an extra bit of joy to your home this week.

Bonus tip: Make these at home with your kids and deliver a batch to your neighbor.

Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

1 c butter

1 c white sugar

1 c packed brown sugar

2 eggs

2 t vanilla

3 c all purpose flour

1 t baking soda

2 t hot water

1/2 t salt

2 c semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Cream together butter, white and brown sugar, until smooth.

3. Beat in eggs one at a time and then stir in vanilla.

4. Dissolve baking soda into hot water and then add along with the salt.

5. Stir in flour and chocolate chips.

6. Bake on uncreased pan for 10 minutes.

7. Enjoy!
